NIFT 2026 Registration Open: Entrance Exam and Application Details

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has officially started accepting applications. Consider this your formal invitation to step into a world where creativity, skill and ambition actually matter.

For anyone who has just finished Class 12 and feels that itch to create, design or just make the world a bit more stylish, this is where you want to be. This is not a place to half-bake your passion. The courses at NIFT are just as exciting as they sound. If you are into design, you can go for a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) with options like Fashion, Leather, Accessories, Textiles, Knitwear or even Fashion Communication. If your interest lies in the technical side of fashion, the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) in Apparel Production is designed for you. And for those looking to level up, the Masters programmes in Design, Fashion Management or Fashion Technology are ready for you. Each course is designed to make sure you don’t just dream but actually do.

NIFT is picky, and rightly so. Seats are limited, the exams are challenging, and the institute expects more than interest. It wants preparation, creativity and the kind of focus that separates casual daydreamers from future leaders.

Registration is now open. The last date to apply without a late fee is January 6, 2026, and the entrance exam is on February 8, 2026. A late fee option will follow if you need a little more time.
