NCHMCT JEE 2026 Registration Deadline Extended: Check Revised Dates, Fees and Eligibility

Students considering a future in hospitality have been given some extra room to breathe. The National Testing Agency has extended the registration deadline for NCHMCT JEE 2026, allowing aspirants additional time to complete their applications without the usual last minute rush.

According to the revised schedule, candidates can now register online till March 25, 2026 up to 5 PM. The extension is expected to help students who were still finalising documents or weighing their options about entering the hospitality sector.

The fee payment deadline has been kept in sync with the registration timeline. Applicants must complete the payment process by March 25, 2026 up to 11:50 PM. Authorities have clarified that submitting the form alone will not be enough and that applications without confirmed fee payment will not be accepted.

The application fee has been fixed differently for various categories. Candidates from the General and OBC categories are required to pay Rs 1000. Those belonging to the Economically Weaker Section must pay Rs 700. For Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Persons with Disabilities and Third Gender candidates, the fee has been set at Rs 450, keeping the process accessible to a wider group of applicants.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Students appearing for their Class 12 examinations in 2026 are also allowed to apply provisionally. English is mandatory as a subject, as the course and examination are conducted in English.

NCHMCT JEE is conducted for admission to the three year BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme. The entrance examination is scheduled for April 25, 2026 in computer based mode at centres across the country.

With the extended timeline, students now have the chance to apply thoughtfully rather than hurriedly. All the best!
