CSEET 2026 Registration Ends Soon: Check Deadline and Official Apply Link

The CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test) registration process is currently open, and if you are planning to pursue the Company Secretary course, this is the form that actually matters right now. The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and is the mandatory entry level exam for students who want to enrol in the CS Executive Programme. In simple terms, if CS is your plan, CSEET is your starting point.

Students can apply online through the official ICSI portal at smash.icsi.edu The registration window for the June 2026 session opened on 16 December 2025 and will close on 15 February 2026. Tick tock, the deadline is getting closer, and the portal is not known for being patient on the last day. Getting the application done early saves you from the classic last minute panic when servers slow down and OTPs take their own sweet time.

In terms of eligibility, students who have passed or are appearing for Class 12 from any stream except fine arts can apply for CSEET. Graduates and postgraduates who want to pursue the CS course are also required to clear CSEET before enrolling in the Executive Programme, unless they fall under specific exemptions announced by ICSI. There is no upper age limit, so this route stays open for fresh school passouts as well as those switching tracks later on.

The fee structure is where many students get confused, so it is important to be clear. The current registration related charges for the CS pathway include a registration amount that can go up to 7500 as part of the enrolment and access framework, along with a separate CSEET examination enrolment fee of 1500 per session. The exact amount may vary depending on the options selected during registration, so students should check the payment details shown on the ICSI portal before completing the transaction. The payment is made online through debit card, credit card or net banking.

As part of the registration process, students need to upload a recent photograph, signature, Class 10 certificate as proof of date of birth, and Class 12 marksheet or admit card if appearing. A valid identity proof such as Aadhaar, passport or any other accepted document is also required. Category certificates are needed for students applying under reserved categories. Having these documents ready before starting the form will make the whole process smoother and save you from having to pause midway.

The CSEET examination for the June 2026 session is scheduled to be held from 1 June to 4 June 2026 in online mode. With the deadline approaching and the exam date already on the calendar, getting the registration out of the way now is the sensible move. The form is the easy part. The preparation is where the real work begins. All the best!
